The bums in Memphis are getting out of hand.
I’m in bad need of a trip to the grocery store, and it was chilly so I didn’t feel like walking to one of the downtown delis, so I decided to break my anti fastfood streak and grab some McBreakfast this morning.
I went to the one on Union by the medical center. Since it was right around 9, there was a pretty long line, I was probably in the drive through for maybe 10 minutes.? In this time period I had two, count ‘em TWO , homeless guys? knock on my window to ask for money.
I can deal with it when I’m walking downtown, although it’s still annoying, but the bums that will come and knock on your window at drivethroughs and stoplights absolutely make me crazy. I need to start carrying bear mace and spraying them no questions asked.
