I went and picked up a few cleaning supplies, some beer, a pack of smokes, etc at Ike’s on Union. I thought the total of $70 was a bit high, but then again I bought some stuff I don’t usually buy, and I never pay much attention to the prices, so I just paid it and went home.

I got home and checked the receipt and saw this:

I thought maybe inflation had run rampant on the price of Tums, so I checked the interwebs. Walgreens.com sells them for $4.99. I’ll be returning them tomorrow morning.
