The lunch special is a very slightly smaller portion (I’m not even sure it’s smaller) with rice and an eggroll for $5-6. When the lunch special ends, the price effectively doubles. We ordered last week a couple of minutes before 3. The woman taking our order said that the lunch special ends at 2:30, but she would do it this time, just make sure to call before 2:30 in the future. Awesome, thanks! I just called 10 minutes ago, 2:12pm, and the woman taking my order said the lunch special was over. Uh, what? I said, “Last week the person taking orders said 2:30, she even let us order it a little before 3″. The woman on the phone replies with, “No, you’re wrong”. Mmmmkay, looks like I’m going to Huey’s. So if you order from them, I would suggest you do it before 11:00am, lest you miss the lunch special, whenever it ends that day.
