Why is there no place for fish and chips downtown?

Or am I forgetting a place? There was Dan McGuinness, but it’s long gone. I don’t believe flying fish does fish and chips, I think the closest you’re gonna get there is catfish with a side of fries. I need a fish and chip fix, let me know if you have any suggestions.

Kooky Canuck has fish n chips. I enjoyed them the couple of times I had them.

Local Gastropub also has Fish N’ Chips. Had them on Monday night. They’ve got really good fries too.

I heard that the Flying Saucer is doing them on Fridays now.

A quick search on our site also turned up the “Mississippi Fish and Chips” at Sole: http://marksmenus.com/restaurants/51953-Sole-Restaurant-Raw-Bar/menus/11956-Lunch#144362

Kerry – But then I’d have to go to the saucer on a Friday night. Maybe for lunch tomorrow :D

Marks Menus – Looks like catfish, which while delicious, does not proper fish and chips make.

Otto – I somehow missed your comment, I’ll definitely try out Local.
