From the CA:

An early morning fire destroyed popular Midtown restaurant and bar Side Street Grill in Overton Square.

The fire at the establishment, located at 31 Florence, started about 1 a.m. today. Memphis Fire Department officials have not released the cause of the blaze.

The bar was known for its martinis and outdoor patio.

I’ve been meaning to get to Side Street, their blackened chicken pasta is fantastic. I guess I’ll be waiting a while.
