Little Italy Pizza Revisted.

I posted a quick blurb about this place a month or so ago, but I ordered again tonight and felt I should do a more in depth review.

I gotta say, this is easily the best pizza in Memphis. Tonight I ordered a Supreme and got it delivered. Supreme consists of pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, peppers, black olives, and sausage. A large came to $19.xx delivered.

The first thing that struck me was how fast delivery was, under 30 minutes from placing the order to it arriving. I dunno if that’s typical, but I certainly can’t complain.

I got the pie and grabbed a slice. It’s immediately obvious that all of the toppings are fresh and hand cut. No uniform size onions out of a giant vat, you can tell they chop their veggies fresh. The crust is also obviously not frozen. As a whole, you get the impression of freshness in pretty much every bite.

Here’s a slice of my supreme.

Spectacular. One of the few places in town that gets the mushrooms right. They’re delicious and juicy without being slimy. If you’re hungry for pizza, you really can’t go wrong here.
